If you’re looking for something to do outdoors in Kinston but are not sure what to do, look no further than Neuseway Nature Park! Right next to downtown and situated on the Neuse River, the park is perfect for anyone needing a little bit of vitamin sun. A less than five-minute drive from our Kinston location, Neuseway Nature Park is a great place to spend the day. Having opened in 1996, Neuseway has been a community staple going on thirty years now. No matter what you enjoy doing, there is something for everyone.
Hosting walking trails, fishing ponds, wildlife exhibit, river access, a campground, a playground for the little ones, a planetarium (yes, a planetarium!), a museum, and plenty of open space, Neuseway is perfect for the whole family–four legged family members included, as the park is very pet friendly! If it’s your lucky day, you might even be able to catch a train ride around the park! With clean bathrooms and opportunities to get into the AC when needed, Neuseway Nature Park has all of the fixtures you need to have a great day outdoors!
